Twelve Crows and Fire

is the third assignment from my illustration class. It depicts the short story The Twelve Brothers by The Brother's Grimm.

Hello, this is charlotte. Just discovered this- lots of pretties. ^^
I had to comment on this one: I love her face- the strong determination and stoicism of the princess from tale really comes across in the picture, though I was through off at first by the black silhouettes- the outlines don't read swan but still work graphically.

thank! they aren't swans. there's a version of the story where her brothers are turned into crows.
