Lanterns in Orange

depicts my sci-fi character Andraia surrounded by cats.

Chairs and Balloons

was a fun piece from my Lithography class last semester. The print was black and white, then I painted it with my inks.

Kimeh-ni and the hoopoe birds

is a piece about my character Kimeh-ni. As she watches the hoopoe birds she contemplates her two sisters.

was my first new illustration for Spring 2008.

was the fifth illustration of the Fall 2007 semester. i'm not sure why i've fallen so far behind on my updates, but i have been creating work.

Camazotz

was a class assignment, it is a cover concept for the book A Wrinkle In Time, by Madeleine L'Engle.

The Four Whispers

was a class assignment, it is an illustration of a young priestess contemplating a mural of religious importance to her village.

Free Radio

is a piece on freedom of expression. It is the second assignment of the Fall07 semester for my illustration class.

Media Mind Control

is a piece on censorship. It is the first assignment of the Fall07 semester for my Illustration class. I desired to create an image depicting the theme of the media controlling ones perception of the world.

was my final project for the drawing class i took this summer.

French Rococo to Japanese Lolita

For my Illustration and Raster classes, these were inked traditionally with pens and brushes in black and white, and then colored digitally in photoshop cs.
